(1) Notwithstanding anything else written in this Act, unless the Council is formed in accordance with Section 7, in order to register the name of the person who is eligible to be a member of the organization and issue the certificate of membership registration, to perform the work of the Council in accordance with this Act and to elect the Councilors to represent the Council from among the members, the following An ad hoc council will be constituted with members:-
(a) President, Nepal Chartered Accountants Association – President
(b) Three persons nominated by the Government of Nepal from among the auditors registered as auditors in accordance with the Act on Auditors, 2031 - members
(c) Gazetted First Class Officer-Member-Secretary appointed by the Government of Nepal (2) The ad-hoc council formed according to sub-section (1) shall elect the councilors to be represented in the council within 6 months from the date of commencement of this Act.
(3) The ad hoc council formed according to sub-section (1) may determine its meeting procedures and other work systems by itself.
(4) After the formation of the council in accordance with section 7, the ad hoc council formed in accordance with sub-section (1) shall automatically dissolve. Thus, after the dissolution of the ad hoc council, all the work done by the said ad hoc council on behalf of the council shall be considered as having been done by the council itself.
